CVE-2025-39909
mm/damon/lru_sort: avoid divide-by-zero in damon_lru_sort_apply_parameters()
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
mm/damon/lru_sort: avoid divide-by-zero in damon_lru_sort_apply_parameters()
Patch series "mm/damon: avoid divide-by-zero in DAMON module's parameters application".
DAMON's RECLAIM and LRU_SORT modules perform no validation on user-configured parameters during application, which may lead to division-by-zero errors.
Avoid the divide-by-zero by adding validation checks when DAMON modules attempt to apply the parameters.
This patch (of 2):
During the calculation of 'hot_thres' and 'cold_thres', either 'sample_interval' or 'aggr_interval' is used as the divisor, which may lead to division-by-zero errors. Fix it by directly returning -EINVAL when such a case occurs. Additionally, since 'aggr_interval' is already required to be set no smaller than 'sample_interval' in damon_set_attrs(), only the case where 'sample_interval' is zero needs to be checked.

Security Fix(es):
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
misc: pci_endpoint_test: Avoid issue of interrupts remaining after request_irq error
After devm_request_irq() fails with error in pci_endpoint_test_request_irq(), the pci_endpoint_test_free_irq_vectors() is called assuming that all IRQs have been released.
However, some requested IRQs remain unreleased, so there are still /proc/irq/* entries remaining, and this results in WARN() with the following message:
remove_proc_entry: removing non-empty directory 'irq/30', leaking at least 'pci-endpoint-test.0' WARNING: CPU: 0 PID: 202 at fs/proc/generic.c:719 remove_proc_entry +0x190/0x19c
To solve this issue, set the number of remaining IRQs to test->num_irqs, and release IRQs in advance by calling pci_endpoint_test_release_irq().
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/amdgpu: csa unmap use uninterruptible lock

Change to use uninterruptible wait lock fix the issue.

Qualys discovered that several vulnerabilities existed in the AppArmor Linux kernel Security Module (LSM). An unprivileged local attacker could use these issues to load, replace, and remove arbitrary AppArmor profiles causing denial of service, exposure of sensitive information (kernel memory), local privilege escalation, or possibly escape a container. (LP: #2143853)
It was discovered that improper initialization of CPU cache memory could allow a local attacker with hypervisor access to overwrite SEV-SNP guest memory resulting in loss of data integrity. (CVE-2024-36331)
Oleksii Oleksenko, Cedric Fournet, Jana Hofmann, Boris Köpf, Stavros Volos, and Flavien Solt discovered that some AMD processors may allow an attacker to infer data from previous stores, potentially resulting in the leakage of privileged information. A local attacker could possibly use this to expose sensitive information. (CVE-2024-36350, CVE-2024-36357)

linux-xilinx vulnerabilities
Josh Eads, Kristoffer Janke, Eduardo Vela Nava, Tavis Ormandy, and Matteo Rizzo discovered that some AMD Zen processors did not properly verify the signature of CPU microcode. This flaw is known as EntrySign. A privileged attacker could possibly use this issue to cause load malicious CPU microcode causing loss of integrity and confidentiality. (CVE-2024-36347)
