CVE-2025-38500
xfrm: interface: fix use-after-free after changing collect_md xfrm interface
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
xfrm: interface: fix use-after-free after changing collect_md xfrm interface
collect_md property on xfrm interfaces can only be set on device creation, thus xfrmi_changelink() should fail when called on such interfaces.
The check to enforce this was done only in the case where the xi was returned from xfrmi_locate() which doesn't look for the collect_md interface, and thus the validation was never reached.
Calling changelink would thus errornously place the special interface xi in the xfrmi_net->xfrmi hash, but since it also exists in the xfrmi_net->collect_md_xfrmi pointer it would lead to a double free when the net namespace was taken down [1].
Change the check to use the xi from netdev_priv which is available earlier in the function to prevent changes in xfrm collect_md interfaces.

xfrm: interface: fix use-after-free after changing collect_md xfrm interface
Change the check to use the xi from netdev_priv which is available earlier in the function to prevent changes in xfrm collect_md interfaces.

kernel security update
The Linux Kernel, the operating system core itself.
Security Fix(es):
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
gtp: Destroy device along with udp socket's netns dismantle.
gtp_newlink() links the device to a list in dev_net(dev) instead of src_net, where a udp tunnel socket is created.
Even when src_net is removed, the device stays alive on dev_net(dev). Then, removing src_net triggers the splat below. [0]
In this example, gtp0 is created in ns2, and the udp socket is created in ns1.
ip netns add ns1 ip netns add ns2 ip -n ns1 link add netns ns2 name gtp0 type gtp role sgsn ip netns del ns1
Let's link the device to the socket's netns instead.
Now, gtp_net_exit_batch_rtnl() needs another netdev iteration to remove all gtp devices in the netns.

kernel security update
The Linux Kernel, the operating system core itself.
Security Fix(es):

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfrm: interface: fix use-after-free after changing collect_md xfrm interface collect_md property on xfrm interfaces can only be set on device creation, thus xfrmi_changelink() should fail when called on such interfaces.

Left out here: 522 package rows, 41 versions, 1,945 references and the rest of 16 source descriptions. The JSON record has them. Also not on the record: 4 aliases. ID and package lookups still check them. Left out on purpose, here and in the API, to keep responses small: 52 source records.
